After getting back to Cairo via train from Luxor, we had a day to kill before flying out late that night, so it was off to Alexandria for a day of exploring. We didn't have that much time, but it was enough to have a quick look around and enjoy a seafood lunch. Below are a few snaps - we wish we could have spent much more time here, it's a gorgeous seaside city with so much character.
