bedouin woman, jordan:

I wanted to share this photo on it's own, as it is one of my favourites so far. It may not be technically perfect or whatever, but I was so delighted to be able to take this woman's photo. I've been finding it hard to get a good shot of a woman, as I've found many women in the Middle East do not like to have their photograph taken. This, plus my shyness (which I'm slowly getting over) was getting me a little frustrated as women are probably my favourite subject to photograph. So this image means a lot to me.

  3. Stunning portrait! I feel your pain with portraits of women... it can be really difficult!
