We stayed in the West Village and spent the first couple of days exploring Manhattan, working our way down from uptown to downtown, before crossing both the Brooklyn and Williamsburg Bridges into Brooklyn. We tried to walk as much of New York as possible, but there is so much to see and pack into each day that the Subway definitely comes in handy as means of getting from A to B. Below are some more snaps from Manhattan, including a night time visit to the Empire State Building.
