budapest, hungary - part one:

Eeek, it's been so long since posts!
Happy 2016 all, and let's continue form where we left off!
We left Copenhagen and headed east for Budapest. Andrew and I had both been wanting to visit Budapest for so long, so we were super excited to check it out. We met up with our friend, Joci, who kindly took us on a bit of a walking tour around Pest side of the Danube river. We wandered the streets, taking in the different architectural details and just soaked up the vibe of the city, getting our bearings for more exploring. It was such a great introduction to the city and had us excited to see more!

next: more from Budapest and then it's on to Croatia and Venice.

  1. Amazing pictures! I'm not a big fan of Budapest, been there some 10 times and still didn't warm up to the city but your pictures make me actually think of going there again and giving it another chance! I like the way you showed it!
