A four hour drive north of Hanoi, most people take a two or three day boat trip on the bay, however as we were short on time we took a very quick one day tour. While we didn't get to see that much of the bay, it was still a beautiful trip as we weaved our way throughout the sculptural karst islands. We stopped at one of the floating villages and explored an island before making our way back to Halong City and back to Hanoi. A long but memorable day!
